Message from the coordinator
This degree aims to:
a) provide the graduated a consolidated legal training characterized by the coordination of the theoretical approach of the various curricular units belonging to the Legal Science with the practical demands arising from the reality.
b) train human resources to be able to develop and deepen, in a sustainable way, significant knowledge in law, resting upon on solid and thorough knowledge of the legal system, encouraging the ethical and legal consciousness of the students in the practical application of knowledge acquired, particularly in solving problems inherent to the practice of any of the professional activities provided by Law degree.
c) develop the capacity and the power of argument, stressing the critical thinking in particular with regard to legislation and jurisprudence, through a permanent and open intellectual dialogue with the doctrine, and to improve habits of research and selection of revenant information for the training, recommending the adoption by the students of independent learning methods throughout life.
d) raise the graduated awareness for permanent specialized training, alerting the student to the increasing development, within the Legal Science, of new areas that require specific skills and knowledge and in some cases the coordination with some other scientific fields.

Objectives and Programme Content
According to the 1st Cycle of studies in Law learning purposes, the student by the end of the degree:
a) shall have acquired a comprehensive legal training allowing him to practice any of the existing legal professions;
b) must be able to skillfully handling the concepts and legal instruments acquired in degree, perform with competence and ethics, the chosen professional occupation;
c) must be able to analyze, from a legal point of view, the several situations that he will be faced in the practice to solve, brandishing coherently and firmly in his favor valid and strong arguments;
d) must be able to reach a competitive position in the labor market owing to the scientific and technical quality of the provided legal training;
e) must have attained the necessary skills for an advanced individual autonomy in interaction with knowledge;
f) must be able to successfully pursue further professional legal training, which can be developed through the 2nd cycle and acquire specific skills in specialized training as well.

The Law degree aims to prepare the student for the practice of different jobs related to the Law, including the Judicial Careers (Judge and Public Magistrates), Attorney, Registration and Notary, Public Administration, Diplomatic Career, Academic Career , Corporation Directive Board and Public and Private Corporations litigation.
