Hospitality is a broad nomenclature, which encompasses a vast set of organisations that provide different types of services within the scope of Tourism and Hospitality. The hospitality industry is the sub-sector of Tourism that enjoys the highest visibility, both for being at the core of tourism activities, as for its direct influence on the tourism development of destination areas. Besides the emphasis on hotel and restaurant management, this bachelor offers more comprehensive training, focused on service management.
This bachelor’s degree prepares students for a career in Hospitality Management that will allow them to perform various jobs in business companies and organisations in any filed of the Hospitality industry, both at national or international level.

Objectives
- To conceive, organise and implement hospitality products and services duly adapted to the clients’ interests, habits, attitudes, and expectations.
- To organise accommodation and catering spaces, planning all the logistic associated with those spaces, planning and managing all its ambiences, uses and functional articulation, as well as the workflows and human resources.
- To operationalise the commercial policy, particularly in conducting market research studies.
- To evaluate the quality of services provided.
- To execute management and administrative activities, considering the articulation of internal organisational processes and consequent coordination of resources.
- To manage human resources and working teams.
- To effectively communicate with the client, speaking and writing in different languages.
